which way do the oldmoblie alero heater core hoses go on for the intake and outtake

i just got a alero and it was smoking i found the leak and noticed the hoses look backwards i dont know which way to put them on i looked for a book on the car and havnt found one yet..I know ones for the in take and other ones for the outtake of antifreeze..But on the heatercore it self which ones the intake and outtake is the driverside the intake or outtake

It likely won't matter. It's still going to circulate and give you heat, assuming both pipes are the same size. Some cars, reversing them will cause a gurgling noise when driving but not many.
