1999 Nissan Sentra Ran Outa Gas Key Left Turned On Fuel Pump Pumping Air Put

ran outa gas and the key was left turned on. THe fuel pump was pumping air, put gas in and tried jumping it, it still wont start. It gets plenty of spark, fuel filter is good but no gas is being pumped up through the filter. CHecked all fuses, they are all good, is there anither fuse I should check or an automatic switch for the fuel pump

fuel pum gets lubed by gas try smacking bottom of tank with rubber hammer or flat of hand if it starts no guarantee of how long it will work.
