coming home last week my car started to judder intermittently I slow down and
drove slowly the short distance home,I put it in reverse to enter my driveway
and it still judderd. next morning I started it up and as soon as I drove it forward it judderd and when I went backwards the same thing,I called my son to come over but he had no idea as to what could be the problem he then phoned is mate who came round and said it could be the fluid wanted changing.
We got some DEXRON II, drianed and renewed the fluid as shown in a book from
another mate of my son's but just the same as before.hope you can help me with this I have plenty of helpers but not a lot of money, so it could be the scrapyard for the car and the bus for me permanently. many thanks.

Make sure the trans filter isn't plugged. Also, check the computer for trouble codes.
