Truck (2.4 liter) recently began to have trouble accelerating. Replaced fuel filter, and added injector cleaner to new tank of gas. Drove about 20 miles total; ultimately had to park it as it would no longer accelerate in any gear. Shifts easily / clutch pedal springs back as normal. Tranny fluid good. No engine hesitation. O2 sensor / throttle body / injector affordable, but trans is not. Very fixed income.

Is the engine light on? If so call around to you local parts stores and see if one will do a free scan. Get the code then clear them and get back to me with the code.

Racefan - Lord's many blessings to you for your reply. It's the clutch, according to local trusted source that is currently unavailable to perform the work. Engine light never came on. Truck destined to become yard trash. Thank you again for your assistance.
