when i pushed the gas the car kind of stalled then the check engine light,battery light, and oil light came on, the brake froze and i couldnt stop and then the car died

may be a TPI sensor or an air flow/mass sensor, a scan will show up any fault here.

just to add to the last post, the brake issue will probably be no vacuum assist as the engine stalled and the booster stopped working, this should be fine when the engine problem is resolved.
