Can I replace the starter?

What is estimated cost to replace starter. Can I do it?

Hello,

In order the remove the starter, the transmission needs to be tilted a little to provide enough room. It can be done in a reasonable amount of time using basic tools.

The starter price is around $85.00 to $140.00 depending on the brand. For installation it will depend on the shop as they all have different labor rate.

The 180SX was not sold in the US in 1999. However, the setup is similar to the 240SX which was sold in the US.
