what could be wrong with my car?

when i drive my car it randomly bucks then stops then does it again and when it bucks it is like riding a bull. some people are telling me to just buy a new throttle body for 600 plus but no one is sure what the problem is.

Start simple. Check to make sure the fuel pressure is within spec, check for trouble codes, check to make sure the converters are not plugging...
