Why are my brake lights on?

And why is my positive cable from the battery to the starter overheating. Most importantly, my car won't start.

I installed a new battery and a new starter and everything is functioning but the car still does not start. When I turn the ignition on I hear a rapid clicking sound.

OTHER THAN A PROBLEM WITH THE NEW STARTER (NEW STUFF CAN BE BAD, OR EVEN INSTALLED WRONG, MIGHT HAVE A PROBLEM WITH THE FLYWHEEL TOO

........BUT I SUSPECT IT'S AN EZ THING!

YOU MUST FIND IT!.......MAINLY 'CAUSE I CAN'T BE THERE TO ASSIST
