does the 3.3 engine normaly bend valve when the timing belt goes or is it a none interferance engine

its a non-interference engine (according to Ford).
you should run a compression check on the engine once the timing belt is replaced. this will let you know if there is any valve damage (there shouldn't be any) and give a good idea of the condition of the engine.
