1999 Mercury Tracer Keep Getting Code 1504 1506 High Idle Read Somewhere U

I keep getting code 1504 and 1506. High idle. I read somewhere if u disconnect the IAC and there is no change in idle speed, it could be the problem? Its an awfully expensive part to guess. I can't find any vacuum leaks or obstructions.

what you read was correct. the part is about 79 and you can replace it easily.
