1999 Mercury Sable Wagon, 107K. As you start to accelerate from a dead stop in D1, car dose not respond. A hesitation occurs, then lunges forward. This does not happen all the time but is happening more frequently now.

Check the transmission fluid condition and level if okay -do my suggestion below

Have the throttle position and vehicle speed sensors checked and tested if okay bring it in and have the transmission pressure tested to find out more -
