leaking coolant

My car is leaking coolant, some of it is ending up in the engine oil, has anyone had any experience with dura seal head gasket sealer? The car is only worth $500-$600, so to put on head gaskets is worth more than the car.

How do I check the head gasket and should I try those sealers?

This does sound like a head gasket so we need to do a couple things to confirm this.

Also, we can pressure test the system and inspect the cylinders for moisture but the head gasket test is more accurate.
