Now I just changed the intake because it was cracked so I put a new one with a aluminum crossover. The car has been sitting up for about 5 years now but when I put a new battery in nothing happends it feels like it ignition has no tension in it and the shifter looks like it won't go into park and feels a little loose. What could be wrong?

When I turn the key all the gauges and lights come on but when going to start it don't even want to attempt to turn over could I have possibly broke a sensor or something when changing the intake?

Make sure all grounds to the engine are good and tight. Also, check to see if there is power going to the starter.
