wont start it keeps cranking till i push start it

I have a merc vito 110cdi its showing edc on dash board and wont start it keeps cranking till i push start it. what could be the problem. i have changed heater plugs, flushed out the fuel in common rail and changed the injectors but to no avail please help

did you bleed the system?? it is difficult to bleed these systems.

i bled the system it started once then went back again to not starting. do you think it needs a new pressure pump?
