my coil clamp is stuck after installing new spring

I just replaced my coil spring using the Evertough Coil Spring Compressor with the single clamp. The replacement went fine, but I am having a difficult time removing the clamp from inside the coil spring. Can anyone advise me on how to remove the clamp The clamp for the coil compressor is stuck on the inside of the coil springs, and I cannot remove it for some reason. I need to know how to remove it.

use another compressor to take it apart again?

or reverse jaws on a compressor to spread instead of compress?
