How do I get the computer to recognize the New transmission?

I replaced the transmission in my 99 Mazda Millenia s with a rebuilt one. Now the car doesn't go into any gear. I checked fluid and the filter and all the sensors and everything is good to go but still no gears. Someone suggested the computer not recognizing new tranni. How do I get the computer to recognize the new tranni?

The compunter does not need to recognise the transmission. Either the rebuilt is not doen correctly or something is installed wrong.
