I own a 1999 towncar and when cold, it runs extremely rough for up to 20 seconds, I try to give it gas to make it idle better but it only gets worst. Once warmed up it idle's fine but, when accelerating the car hesitates tremendously. Is there a way I can fix it myself. As of 2 months ago has new fuel pump, new coils, new oil, new filter, and was running fine after the tune up

Have you checked the IAC and for vacuum leaks?

Not 100% sure what the IAC is but I changed the idle control valve/sensor, and made no difference. Throughly checked all vacum lines and vacum connections but no visible problems. There.

IAC is the part you replaced, idle air control valve. If there are no leaks, make sure the IAC is getting power and the part is functioning.
