1999 Lincoln Continental Shifter is stuck in park.

Car starts fine. Will not shift out of park. Brake lights are working. Can't find a good parts breakdown/maintenance reference to help troubleshoot or find an override. Where is the locking solenoid located? Does it have an override?

Thanks for the illustration and wiring diagram. Plan to do a bit more troubleshooting (check for good ground to actuator) however, at this point, looks like an actuator R&R might be on the horizon. Looks like instrument cluster will have to be pulled. Hope that's all. Hard to find anything other than generic "Chilton-esque" data. Suppose it might be time to drop $180 on Ebay for the factory service manuals.
