Not being Lexus savvy, I would think that there is something in the valvebody of the transmission that might require attention, maybe a gummed up piston that works after it gets warm or a broken spring or partially blocked passageway for fluid to flow through to allow the transmission to schedule correctly. You might consider calling a transmission repair facility that you feel you can trust and making an appointment.
