Can a 5.2 out of a 95 grand cherokee laredo be put into a 99 grand cherokee limited? And do you have any useful diagrams for swapping those harnesses. My 95 is falling apart but the engine and tranny are good. Then I have my 99 that was cut up and hacked to put in a 350. The body and all are excellent. So I want to use my engine and tranny out of my 95 and put it into my 99
thanks

We only recommend direct fit parts. When you change years, other things change such as sensors, solenoids.

Anything is possible. My concern is the cost and work offset the benefit.

Do you know if the mounts are in the same location on both vehicles? I already know I have to swap the harnesses also but think I can tie in what I need to

They should be.
I hate to say this, but I can get in trouble for helping someone modify their vehicle beyond the manufacturer's recommendations. I hope you understand.

I hope I helped in some way. If you were next door, I would come over and help. It can be done, it just takes a lot of fooling around to get everything working properly.
