How do I replace the low beam bulb on the passenger side of my 1999 Infiniti Q45t? What tools do I need?

I tried to replace bulb by removing the car battery. There was some sort of screw that I couldn't get off to unscrew the cap.

There should be a lockring that secures the headlamp connector to the headlamp assembly. It twists off. There is usually a bale that locks the rear cover to the assembly/housing.
