I have a 99 infinity q45, what can cause the back of passenger seat to not return to original position from the incline position. The seat will incline back, but want come forward back to original position. It will only move forward a couple of inches and stop, leaving seat stuck in an incline position. What can be the problem.

Either the spring or cable inside is broken in the seat.

Take your seat apart and make sure it's broken it may be able to be rewelded or get another seat form ajunkyard if yo ucan find one. And just replace your upholstery.
