1999 Infiniti Car Alarm

How do you disconnect car alarm on 1999 infiniti g20, can it be done by a fuse, if not what way is it done? We have tried to reset the alarm and it won't. Thank you

Can't be done with factory-installed systems. If a thief could disconnect it that would kind of defeat its purpose. These systems are real effective at keeping owners out of their cars too. If unlocking the front doors with the key doesn't turn the alarm off, check the wires between the driver's door hinges to see if any are broken or frayed.

That is what happens, the alarm goes on when we go to get into our drivers side, so we have to go around to the passenger to turn it off. We will checked for frayed wires. Thank you
