Mainly when i change gears. so we wanted to change the spark plugs but are having trouble finding where they are? The manual tells us the basic details on how to change them, but it shows us how to do it for a fuel injection motor not a DOHC 16v one?

Buy plugs. Remove one wire by grasping it at the base of the boot and twisting while pulling. Remove plug. Verify plug gap. Install new plug. Reinstall plug wire. Move to next plug.

The Excel isn't available in the U.S., so I can't look up any information on it. I looked up pictures. The plugs appear to be between the engine and the throttle body.
