the car stalls

the car will start if i give it gas while i start it. it will go as long as i give it gas as soon as i take my foot off the gas petal it stalls.

Check and test the idle air control valve, EGR and PCV valves and throttle position sensor-also check fuel pressure and exhaust system for restriction
