timing belt would much should i pay?

I had my timing belt replaced at 110000 miles on my 1999 Honda civic it failed at 130000 miles the work was done in 2010 it is now 2012 should i be charged for the repair i was told that the tensioner spring came loose and chewed up the belt

i had my timing belt replaced 20000 miles after having it replaced initially should i have to pay

A timing belt failing after only 20,000 miles tells me it was installed incorrectly and you shouldn't have to pay for it. But your state may no think so. Contact the state's bureau of automotive repair.
