Chech engine light

1999 honda accord check engine light was on and code was bad tps. Replaced it and light comes on and code is the same each time. Why?

Probably because it wasn't a bad tps sensor causing the code. What is the exact code number you have?

My Haynes Repair Manual says that 7 is either TPS circuit low input or TPS circuit high input.

7? Obd2 code's are a letter and a four digit number that's the number I need.

Problem solved. The trany was 2 qts low and slipping. That was telling the pcm that the info didn't give true info and it was seeing a bad tps. Reset the pcm and test drove and all is working fine.
