I'm thinking about buying a 1999 Holden Vectra 2.5ltr auto 5 dr hatchback. I'm advised that the engine has a bad 'knock' in it. Just wondering, is it because it needs a tuneup or could it be more serious?

Leave it alone, it my be a bearing problem and that can cost thousands to fix
