1999 Holden Vectra Changing Transmission

What has to be done to be able to remove the automatic transmission. From looking at it it looks like the whole engine has to be dropped out. Surely that's not what has to happen?

Engine and trans out as a unit and then separated, VACC quote 8Hrs to R&R a transmission.

Yeah, that sux..... a lot of mid range compact 6cyl autos need to be done this way, good luck with it.
