engine will not turn over after half an Hour

My car will not turn over after half an Hour of jump starting and putting battery on charge it still just makes a loud clicking/clanging noise when i turn the key! Please help?

Faulty starter, you may find that the nose has broken off.Pull it out and get it over hauled.
