I have a 1999 Yukon the rear defrost does not work along with the rear brake lights. Also the keyless entry lock/unlock does not work on the rear door. All other 4 doors work.

Hello,

One of the common failures of the rear defrost is the wire getting disconnected from the element.
Check and make sure it is secured. Also check to see if you are getting power to the connector. If you have power this will rule out an electrical issue.

Inoperative brake lights are likely due to a bad brake light switch. That switch is located under the brake pedal lever. When you press the pedal, the switch gets depressed and turn on the light. Typically, a burnt switch will keep the lights from working.

Please let me know of any questions.
Thank you.
