1999 Gmc Suburban Having Really Hard Time Getting Heater Core Hoses Off They

I am having a really hard time getting the heater core hoses off.They will not budge even after I removed the clamp. do you have a suggeston on how else I can try to get it off?

The hoses will harden over time. I use a utility knife to split hoses over fittings.
