No heat, low temp readout? Changed stat

99 gmc sonoma 2.2ltr, no heat, not overheating, changed thermostat, old one stuck open, back together still no heat, low temp readout. Possible air in system?

Make sure there are no air pockets. Next, make sure both heater core hoses get hot when the engine is running and the heater is on. If both are hot, have the blend door. If only one gets hot, flush the heater core.
