installed New Oil Pump and dash light say "Check Engine Oil Pressure". Then installed oil pressure sending unit and the problem continue with the light. There is a small knock in the engine and do not want to continuing starting engine. Can you help.

most likely a bad bearing, either main or rod from bad pressure.

have the pressure checked manually to verify.
