Hi,
I have replaced my battery & then the alternator. After the truck is not driven for a few hours the battery goes dead. Any idea as to what the problem could be?

Thanks,
Renae

The first step is to verify the new generator is working. You can do that with an inexpensive digital voltmeter. Measure the battery voltage while the engine is running. It should be between 13.75 and 14.75 volts. Let me know what you find.
