1999 ford winstar 3, 0 v6 had to change motors in it drove it for two weeks quit running checked fuel pump did not get enough gas changed the pump and it will not start try starting fluid and it started and runs as long as you spray it but will not start and run on its own

Check fuelpressure with a gauge, fuel filter shodl be changed when pump is changed. Pump cold have been installed incorrectly. Auto parts rent the gauge 35-45 psi key on engine off 28-45psi engine running
