i took my car to the dealer p0102 code they said it was using so much gas because of upper and lower intake gaskets after over 800 dollars it did nothing what should i check and how

This code is telling you there is an issue with the mass air flow sensor.

However, this could just be a vacuum leak which is most likely what they found with the intake gaskets.

So, the way to test this to find what they did is to follow this guide:

However, this could be a MAF sensor issue itself so we will need to run through the voltage testing and check for shorts to find out if the voltage is the issue.

Please see the attached info below. If there are no vacuum leaks, then the most likely issue is the sensor. However, it could also be wiring or a PCM.
