1999 Ford Windstar tail light

The tail light is out on drivers side all other lights work. Its not the bulb or the bulb housing. It will come on every ounce in awhile just for a few min. It shows a bulb out on the dash when its not working lost any ideas.

check ground on that taillight then check to see if it's getting power or not.

I have a tail light out my battery was going dead and everytime I got a jump the tail light would start working for a little while i got new battery cuz the old was bad but tail light is not working not bulb or housing
