Overdrive off light flashes intermittently on 1999 ford windstar what are some troubleshooting procedures for that?

You need to have the transaxle codes read. Overdrive light flashing is an indication of a transmission problem. Autozone still pulls codes for free I am pretty sure or find someone with a scan tool.

The flashing indicates there are trouble codes stored in the computer. You need to have it scanned with a scanner to determine where the problem is coming from.
