I have a ford Taurus and now it will not start I have replaced starter then I thought it could be the ignition switch nothing but I could turn the gear in the steering column and it work start and it want cut it off and now it want do anything what else can I change or do? I'm thinking neutral safety switch what do you think?

you can make it start by turning the gear in the column???

it sounds like you have something brken or worn out in the cylinder lock, gear, rack system.
