Now my high pressure line is leaking at the point where the nut and line connect, is this due to air in the system or do I need to replace the high pressure line? When the steering wheel is turned air bubbles and fluid leak out of the high pressure line.

Try to use teflon tape to see if that will stop the leak.

It's not leaking at the threads, wouldn't teflon tape just swell? I added a picture, the area in the circle is where it is leaking from.

Not that I noticed, could it just be air still escaping the system? How difficult is it to replace that whole line?

That O ring needs to be replaced. Kind of a bad design they got away from in later years.
