I recently removed the fuel tank from my Taurus, this was the first time I had done so, and was using a Haynes manuel to walk me through the process. I assume I misunderstood a step and ended up breaking one of the blue plastic fittings on the top of the fuel tank. I was trying to remove the hose from the fitting and the plastic simply broke. Can you tell me what I broke and if it is replacable? I will attach a picture and try to highlight what I broke.

Thanks,
Chris

Chris:
It looks like you simply broke a plastic fitting that vents the system through the EVAP system. You should be able to get one at a dealer. Try a parts store first to save a buck, but I have a feeling it is going to be a dealer part.
