1999 ford taurus Dual OHC, what tools will i need to replace the crankshaft pulley?, not connected to the harmonic balancer, crank shaft has 2 deep grooves and is splined. The old pulley is stamped with the words "loosen" w/ an arrow for rotation direction,

Crankshaft accessory drive pulley shaft has a left hand thread. Rotate pulley shaft clockwise to remove. Use a 24 mm open end wrench on the inside nut to remove crankshaft accessory drive pulley shaft.
