1999 Ford Mustang Washer Motor Doesn T Come On Pushing Button Wiper Does

Washer motor doesn't come on when pushing washer button but wiper motor does (As it should). removed washer motor and checked it. It works when connected to 12 vdc. Wipers work fine in all positions.

check for power to the pump with the switch activated.
