I have a 99 Ford Mustang and jus had the engine replaced. The air filter in there is old as dirt and a loud humming noise is coming from the air filter hose. Also the car will just shut off while I'm driving it or when I come to a stop. What is wrong with my car?

Check to make sure the air inlet between the air filter and the intake is properly connected. Also, if the filter is really dirty, replace it. The noise you hear sounds like a vacuum leak from that area.
