1999 Ford Mondeo Ve Run Low On Fuel Since Running Rough Added Red X Into

I've run my mondeo low on fuel and since then is running rough.
I've added red x into the existing fuel, seems to getting a bit better would changing the in line fuel filter help?

Check the fuel pressure to make sure it is within spec. IF it is low, a filter may help.
