how do you change an alternator on a 1999 st24, we cannot get to the bolts to undo and replace

Get a repair manual and read its removal procedures and use your imagination and combination of tools to get to the bolt/s

that car is also known as ford contour. easier to find info on contour i would think. do these pics look like yours? you may have to go under car to access a bolt.
