transmission down maybe

i have a 1999 f250 super duty truck with a v10 in it. recently got stuck in the snow and after i got out of the snow my transmission just stopped. it goes in reverse but not forward. any ideas?

hi nick.it is a good possibility if you have no forward at all that the forward band simply overheated and burned up it is also possible that the forward band servo broke. i would have it towed to a trans shop where it can be scanned and more easilly diagnosed
