I am restoring my 1999 F-250 and will be doing a few body mods and new interior, I would like to put a later model more efficient drive train in it what would fit with the least amount of frame modification?

it's not so much frame modifications it's more like computer issues. Anytime you modify what you have the computer has to be as well. Interior mods are easier. but it depends on what you really want to do to the engine/trans. If you have a 5 speed trans and want to go to six the computer has to be modified as well as any electrical hookups on transmission. the best thing for you is to check into a blower from edelbrock or roush as they will modify the computer as part of the package I think...
