speedometer not working and automatic transmission is late shifting ?

No speedometer movement, and automatic transmission is late when shifting from first to second gear. Engine is a 4.2 liter V-6, and I believe transmission is 4r70w.

check the connector at the vehicle speed sensor. either that or the sensor itself may be bad.
